Courtney Cook is a writer of nonfiction & poetry, a multidisciplinary artist, avid reader, and lover of naps. Courtney attended University of Michigan during her undergraduate career, studying creative writing & literature, and art & design. Currently, Courtney is an MFA candidate at the University of California, Riverside with a focus in nonfiction. She has been published in Entropy Magazine and Maudlin House, and has work upcoming in Lunch Ticket, The Rumpus, and Split Lip Magazine. She is an art contributor to Crybaby Zine and Lithium Magazine. Her illustrations have been featured by Hobart, the Killer & Sweet Thing, Riddled With Arrows, and Gayettes. When not focusing on schoolwork, Courtney can be found drawing commissions for her growing Etsy business, Art School Pariah. She is located in Riverside, California, though she hails from the suburbs of Chicago, and considers herself forever a part of the Midwest.
